Welcome To Bradford Pre-school and Bridgerule Early Years
Bradford Pre-school and Bridgerule EarlyYears are 2 separate pre-schools, one set within the village hall in Bradford and one set within the primary school in Bridgerule. The two settings share resources and staff; and are managed by one voluntary committee made up mainly from parents of children who attend the settings.
We provide a friendly, secure, stimulating and fun environment for children, from their second birthday until the time they start at school.
We offer your child:
Access to a wide and varied range of activities and resources tailored to their needs and interests, working through the Early Years foundation Stage
Fun and friendship with other children and adults.
Support of a key person and an excellent adult to child ratio
Smooth transitions onto the next stage of their education
You can find our awareness & fundraisng page on Facebook - please like us on "Bradford Pre-school & Bridgerule Early Years"
You can claim funding to help with your childcare at both pre-schools. All 3 & 4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours of Early Years Funding. You can find out further information at EYEF Entitlement flyer
Some 2 years olds are eligible for 2gether Funding. You can find out further information at 2gether Funding
Early Years Pupil Premium Funding
The Governement has intoduced Early Years Pupil Premium funding for eligible children aged three and four years old. This started from April 1st and will equate to an additional 53 pence per funded hour, for each eligible child receiving a free nursery education place.
For a child taking their full entitlement, our pre-schools would receive just over £300 extra per annum.
This additional money could make a significant difference to us, to support children’s development, learning and care. We can use the extra funding in any way we choose to improve the quality of the early years education that we provide for your child. This could include for example additional training for our staff on early language, investing in partnership working with our colleagues in the area to further our expertise or supporting our staff in working on specialised areas such as speech and language.
Any parent, who thinks they may be eligible, can have the appropriate details checked. All you need to do, is complete the EYPP form and return it to our administrator. The form will then be submitted to Devo County Council, where the check will be made by the Early Years Finance Team.
If you feel this may apply to you, please ask a member of staff for a form to complete.
